Münster: 22 dressage and jumping foals were for sale at today's Westphalian Online Auction. At an average price of 9,269 euros, 13 changed hands. The most popular offer of the evening was a dressage foal with the head number 20. The son of Le Marron/Weltjunge was worth 18,000 euros to his new owners from the USA.

The customers of the Westfälisches Pferdestammbuch were particularly interested in the foals predispositioned for dressage. The auction was exciting till the end. The most popular foal was Lorriot with the head number 20. The son of Le Marron/Weltjunge (breeder: Heinrich Theil, Merzen; exhibitor: Petra Thormann-Chilewski, Neuenkirchen) was sold for 18,000 euros to customers from the USA. He descennts from the dam line of the licensed and Grand Prix successful Depardieu. The second most expensive colt was Findus with the head number 4 (breeder and exhibitor: Johannes Schulze-Kappelhoff, Ahaus). The chestnut is a representative of the first vintage of the promising Fanegro from the stallion station Beckmann. The young stallion already convinced at the Westphalian online auction last week. There he provided the most expensive filly.

With a hammer price of 17,000 euros, the most expensive filly left the virtual auction floor. Sweet Love (breeder and exhibitor: Jürgen Bunge, Rahden) presented herself with the head number 2 and a lot of charm. The daughter of Secret/Bon Coeur remains in Germany. Her granddam is a full sister to two advanced level successful dressage horses. This dam line also produced Dablino FRH by De Niro, who won the Nations Cup in Aachen under the saddle of Anabel Balkenhol. The stars shine therefore bright for a successful career for this young foal!

Among the young talents with a jumping pedigree, head number 1 was particularly popular right at the beginning of the auction. Caprica S by Conthargos/Cornet Obolensky (breeder and exhibitor: Gestüt Schultenhof, Bochum) descents from the Holstein line 2087 and was sold for 13,500 Euros to Switzerland.

Of the 22 foals offered for sale today, 60 percent changed hands. With a total tunrover of 120,500 euros, the youngest Westphalians cost an average of 9,269 euros this evening. The young talents of this auction lot found international appeal. In the end, three customers outside of Germany won the bid for their young stars. The number of pre-bids from abroad was high.

The coming days at the Westfälisches Pferdestammbuch will also be dominated by the youngest Westphalians. In Münster-Handorf, the pre-selection for the online auctions of the foals on June 12 and 19 will take place.
